Share Your Next Event on Relavanti

If you're hosting an event to which people will be traveling, Relavanti wants to make things very easy for you to share the details of the event with all those invited.

Be it a birthday party, wedding, business meeting, festival or (heaven forbid) a funeral - whatever the event, you can now easily let everyone know about the nearest airports to the event, nearest hotels, car rentals, activities and more (soon we will also be adding public transportation). All you have to do is create the event on Relavanti and share the link with those invited. That's it!

An event can either be designated at a specific location, or on a specific cruise.

Event by Location:

Let's take this sample event: This is what the event looks like to those who receive the link from you. Note that the event page has two tabs at the top left:

1. Event: This tab displays the invitation to the event and any other information you would like to share.
2. The Event Address (1451 Renaissance Place North): This tab allows those invited to see relevant information and book travel or tourism services).

In the Event Address tab, you'll note above the map there are 5 tabs:

1. Nearby (what's nearby the event location) - displays information relevant to the event location, such as hotels and car rentals that are nearby the specific address.
2. Air (airports) - displays a list of the closest airports (sorted by size and distance), where the invitee can view details for a specific airport and book hotels, car rentals and other services that are near the airport.
3. Sea (seaports) - Same as airports.
4. Rail and Bus (both currently in development - coming soon!).

By the way, here's a nifty little feature: When viewing the Air tab, the invitee can filter the airports to see which airports are served by a specific airline or alliance. It's also possible to filter airports served by a specific airline, when airline actually operates the flight and not as a codeshare flight.

Event by Cruise:

It's also possible to create an event around a specific cruise. As an example: Relavanti | Sample Cruise Event. Again, note that the event has two tabs on the top left:

1. Event: This tab displays the invitation to the event and any other information you would like to share.
2. Cruise Name (Best of the Med in this example): This tab allows those invited to see relevant information about the cruise, and book travel or tourism services at each of the ports. Note that, to see specific port information, the invitee needs to click on "View Cruise Details" at the bottom,

Creating an Event is Easy:

1. Sign up for a profile on Relavanti.com.
2. Click on Events and start creating your event as a location or as a cruise - enter as much or as little information as you like.
3. It is recommended (but not required) to have at least one day in the event dates (such as March 12 to March 13) for the hotels and the car rentals to work properly.
4. Decide about the privacy setting for the event (kind of like a YouTube video).
5. Save the event and you're all set! You will get an event code and a link, both of which you can start to share.
6. To view, modify or cancel an event - simply log in to Relavanti and click on Events.

Currently, Relavanti is designed to track Event bookings made for hotels and car rentals. In the near future, we will also track bookings for activities and even cruises. The plan is simple: Revenues received through these bookings will be shared with the event "owner".
